Computerized Posture and Gait Analysis

We detect and heal the silent screams of your body with millimeter digital measurements.

An ideal posture is a perfect balance where the musculoskeletal system expends the least energy against gravity and puts the lowest load on the joints. However, today's sedentary life, long-term desk/computer work, phone use (text-neck syndrome), and bad habits disrupt this perfect balance. Computerized Posture and Gait Analysis is the most advanced technology that digitizes these deviations, which are difficult to notice by eye.

The underlying cause of complaints such as "My back always hurts", "One shoulder is lower than the other", or "One side of my shoe always wears out faster" is usually invisible mechanical asymmetries. Thanks to the advanced software in our clinic, deviations in the front, back, and side profiles of your body (shoulder, scapula, pelvis, knee angles) are measured in millimeters and degrees and reported.

After the digital map of your posture and gait is extracted; we do not just give the results, we plan your personalized "Clinical Exercise" and "Clinical Pilates" program accompanied by our expert physiotherapists to permanently correct these asymmetries. Remember, pain is just a result; posture analysis finds the cause.

Who Is This Service For?

  • Those suspected of having curvature (Scoliosis) or hunchback (Kyphosis) in their spine
  • Those who see a height difference (asymmetry) in their shoulders or hips when looking in the mirror
  • Desk workers (Plaza workers) who constantly suffer from neck, back, and low back pain
  • Children/adolescents who are in the period of physical development and carry the risk of posture disorder
  • Those experiencing limping, inward/outward stepping, or frequent falling problems in their walking
  • Individuals suspected of having leg length inequality (shortness)
  • Athletes who want to calculate the risk of injury while doing sports and increase their performance
  • Patients whose biomechanics have changed after surgery (e.g., Scoliosis surgery or Hip Replacement)

How Is It Applied?

01

Anamnesis and Visual Evaluation

Your physiotherapist listens to your complaints and provides a preliminary evaluation by performing your clinical tests with the naked eye and a scoliometer.

02

Marking Reference Points

Key anatomical points on your body (shoulder heads, shoulder blades, pelvis, knees, and ankles) are determined with special markers.

03

Static Posture Shooting

Photos of your front, back, and both side profiles are taken in front of the cameras connected to the analysis software. The computer calculates the angular deviations between the marked points in millimeters.

04

Dynamic Gait Analysis

You are asked to walk under camera recording. Your step length, air time (swing), and foot strike angles are analyzed to detect asymmetries in your walking pattern.

05

Reporting and Exercise Prescription

Analysis results are turned into a detailed PDF report. Based on the result, a completely personalized clinical pilates, corrective exercise, or insole prescription is created.

Benefits of Analysis

Detection of very small asymmetries and alignment errors that cannot be noticed by the eye
Documenting the posture disorder numerically (degree/angle) and providing the opportunity to compare in the future
Making completely safe measurements without exposure to harmful X-rays like X-rays (especially for children)
Objectively proving how much improvement is achieved after the applied treatment (exercise/corset/insole)
Predicting and preventing possible herniated discs, calcification, and joint wear (degeneration) years in advance

Frequently Asked Questions

Does posture analysis contain radiation (X-ray)?
Absolutely not. Only high-resolution digital cameras and smart software are used in computerized posture analysis. Since it does not contain any radiation (X-rays), it can be applied repeatedly and completely safely in pregnant women and young children.
How should I dress when coming to the analysis?
You need to wear or bring tight-fitting clothes (shorts and sports bra for women, shorts for men) so that your body lines and joint points can be clearly perceived by the computer.
Can you diagnose scoliosis?
A definitive medical "diagnosis" is made by a doctor and X-ray. However, the analysis we do calculates the biomechanical angle of the curvature in the spine reflected from the outside, determines whether you are in the risk group, and draws the roadmap of your physiotherapy/exercise process.
How long does the analysis take?
The process of clinical evaluation, applying markers, shooting, reporting the results, and explaining them to you in detail takes approximately 45 minutes in total.
